Privacy: your personal data will remain confidential and will never be shared with third parties.
Conditions of use: The treating physician is entirely responsible for drug prescriptions and their monitoring.
The orthodose.com together with the Orthodose mobile application is designed to help doctors involved in palliative care always have a practical tool at their disposal for palliative care practice.
This website is intended exclusively for the use of qualified and experienced medical practitioners.
The medical information provided by this website, and on the related app, is provided as an information resource only. It is not intended for patient education, does not create any patient-physician relationship and may not be used as a substitute for professional diagnosis and treatment.
User assumes all risk in using this site and the related app and by using the app and/or website the user expressly agrees they have read and understood this statement and, furthermore, will abide by the conditions stated below:
A. The Orthodose website and its Orthodose calculator app are provided “as is,” and neither orthodose.com, the related app, the app creator, nor any of its affiliates, licensors, or software developers make any express or implied representations or warranties to you regarding the usability, condition or operation thereof. Orthodose.com does not warrant that access to, or use of the Orthodose app, or website or that the Orthodose calculator service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Orthodose website, software or Orthodose calculator will meet any particular criteria of performance or quality. In addition, orthodose.com, its related app, the app creator, and each of its affiliates, licensors, software developers and service providers expressly disclaim all implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, title, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security or accuracy.
B. The prescription of opioids and its follow-up is the task and the responsibility of the attending physician. It is the physician’s responsibility to adapt the dose to make it suitable to each patient. The orthodose© calculator and the orthodose.com website in no way replace the clinical evaluation by the physician. Your use of the orthodose.com website and the orthodose calculator is at your own risk. You assume full responsibility and risk of loss resulting from your downloading, uploading, and/or use of files or other materials (including the orthodose app software) obtained either directly or indirectly from orthodose.com or its affiliates or any loss resulting from its use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, whether arising under any theory of contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise. In addition, you agree that neither the creators and operators of orthodose.com, or the orthodose calculator app, nor any of its affiliates, licensors or software developers will be liable for damages, whether direct or indirect (including consequential or special damages, or adverse patient reactions), arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the orthodose website or the orthodose calculator, up to and including the death of any patient in your care, and you hereby waive any claims with respect thereto, whether based on contractual, negligence, tort or other grounds, even if orthodose or any such affiliate, or other orthodose calculator provider has been advised of the possibility of damages. You hereby release orthodose and each of its affiliates, licensors and orthodose calculator providers from any and all obligations, liabilities and claims. Some jurisdictions do not allow implied warranties to be excluded or modified or liability to be limited, so not all of the above limitations may apply to you.
C.You expressly agree that the Brussels court shall be the sole recognised jurisdiction of competence in the event of a dispute regarding this website and/or our mobile app. This means that if there is a dispute arising from your use of or knowledge of the www.orthodose.com or the orthodose© mobile app you agree that said dispute will be handled exclusively by the courts of Brussels, without any regard to conflicts of law between Brussels and your jurisdiction. If you do not agree to this provision do not use our site or mobile app.
D. Neither orthodose.com, nor any of its affiliates, licensors, or software developers shall be held responsible in any way or by any means, either directly or indirectly, for any communications, or other technical difficulties which could lead to the interruption of data delivery.
E.You will not rely on any representation or warranty, expressed or implied, made by any person other than an authorised officer of orthodose.com, in evaluating the app or its calculator operations or that goes against the disclaimers and conditions stated herein.
