Orthodose Account Deletion

Would you like to delete your Orthodose account and all associated personal data? We respect your decision and provide two straightforward options for complete account deletion.

Steps to Follow:

1. Open the Orthodose app on your mobile device


2. Navigate to the main menu


3. Select “Delete my account and its data”


4. Follow the on-screen instructions


5. Confirm your deletion request through multiple verification steps designed to prevent accidental deletion

How to Submit Your Request:

Contact our team: Send your request to our support service at https://orthodose.com/fr/contact or by email to dpo@orthodose.com specifying:

• A clear statement requesting account deletion


• The email address associated with your Orthodose account


• Proof of identity must be provided through one of the following:
  
  
  
  •  Digital signature: An electronic signature applied using your electronic identity card.
  
  
  • Identity Document Copy: A legible photocopy of your identity card, passport, or equivalent official document. You may redact any information not required for identity verification. To prevent unauthorized use, please annotate the copy with the recipient organization’s name, the submission date, and the purpose of your request.
  
  
  
  

Processing Timeline:

Orthodose will respond to your request within one month of receipt. We may request additional identity verification if needed. If we cannot meet this deadline, we’ll notify you within the first month, explaining the reason for the delay and the extended timeline (maximum extension: 2 months).

If we’re unable to fulfill your request partially or completely, we’ll provide detailed reasons for our decision.

If you prefer to submit your request by postal mail, send a registered letter including:

• The email address used to identify your Orthodose account


• Proof of identity must be provided through one of the following methods:

ID Photocopy: A copy of your identity card, passport, or similar official document. You may redact any information not relevant to identity verification. To prevent unauthorized use, please write on the copy: the organization’s name (MedLight), the date, and the purpose of this request (Orthodose account deletion).

A certified signature authenticated by a competent authority

Processing Time: Orthodose will respond to your request within one month of receiving it. Additional identity verification may be requested. If this deadline cannot be met, we will inform you within one month, stating the extension period (maximum 2 months) and the reasons for it.

If Orthodose determines it cannot fulfill your request or can only partially fulfill it, we will provide you with specific reasons for this refusal.

Multi-Step Verification
The in-app deletion process includes several confirmation steps to prevent accidental account removal.

Outstanding Payments
You remain responsible for any pending financial transactions, even after account deletion and loss of app access.

Limited Account Recovery
If you accidentally delete your account using the in-app method, you have 6 days to request recovery by contacting https://orthodose.com/contact/ or by email to dpo@orthodose.com with your account email. Please note:

• Account recovery is not guaranteed


• Recovery becomes impossible after 7 days

Complete Data Removal
Once deleted, Medlight will permanently remove all your personal data from our systems.

Permanent and Irreversible
Account deletion cannot be undone. You’ll lose all access to the application unless you create a new account in the future.

Account Security
Medlight is not liable if unauthorized individuals initiate deletion through your account. You’re responsible for protecting your login credentials.
